How will this jacket keep your child warm?

This jacket is filled with wadding. The wadding is made of a synthetic component obtained by blending polyester fibres. The quantity of air stored inside depends on the size of the fibres. For the same mix of fibres, the thicker the wadding, the more air is trapped, the warmer it is.

How does my jacket protect me from outdoor conditions?

Your jacket is designed with a waterproof outer component that keeps out water and wind. In the winter, to stay warm, you must also protect your head, hands and feet. The warm and waterproof hood, elasticated tightening on the cuffs and high collar keep the cold out. Two pockets protect your hands from the cold.

How to dress properly for snow hiking?

To dress properly in winter, whatever your activity, we recommend using the 3-layer principle:
layer 1: The high-tech base layer transfers moisture away from the body to keep your skin dry.
layer 2: The second layer (fleece, sweater) provides warmth and transfers moisture outwards.
layer 3: The jacket protects you from the outdoor conditions: rain, snow, wind.
The whole outfit must be breathable in order to eliminate moisture.

How can I be sure that my jacket is 100% waterproof?

What is the meaning of: “Taped main seams” ?

The seams on a jacket can be waterproofed, preventing water from entering there.
Here, the main seams are taped, meaning those on the hood, collar, shoulders, cuffs and chest.

Windproof:

The fabric is made waterproof and windproof by applying a coating or membrane to the inside. Indeed, a waterproof fabric has the necessary technical characteristics to be considered windproof. How to preserve the technical qualities of my jacket

A fabric’s water repellent property is its capacity to make water run off its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight, warm and breathable. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric’s exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment’s lifespan (recommended after each wash). Products (spray or liquid) for this purpose are available in our stores.

This product is guaranteed for 2 years from the date shown on the sales receipt. A product covered by the warranty will be exchanged free of charge. The warranty covers product defects, excluding those resulting from normal wear and tear and improper use.
